Our ingredients in plain language

The terminology around food supplements, cosmetics and the human body can often be complex. Therefore, we have summarized the effects of each active ingredient.

Hair Care Capsules

    • Fenugreek extract (Trigonella foenum-graecum) → Fenugreek is a strong antioxidant, which protect the body against so-called free radicals. These are harmful substances the body creates as by-product of oxygen consumption and can potentially damage (hair) cells and tissues.
    • Folic acid → Plays a role in the cell division process, contributes to the development of new (hair) cells and the production of blood cells. It is crucial in the nutrition of the hair follicles and hair root.
    • Zinc → An antioxidant that contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative damage. Selenium contributes to the maintenance of normal hair.
    • Selenium → An antioxidant that contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative damage. Selenium contributes to the maintenance of normal hair.
    • Iodine → Iodine contributes to a healthy production of thyroid hormones and normal functioning of the thyroid gland. Too little thyroid hormones can, among others, cause increased hair loss and dry and flaky (scalp) skin.
    • Copper → Copper is crucial for the production of melanin, which gives hair color and shine. Copper also plays an important role in blood flow, and thus in the supply of nutrients and oxygen to the hair follicles.
    • Coconut oil → Coconut oil is rich in nutrients that protect hair follicles and fight inflammation. In addition, it contains a high dose of lauric acid, which may counteract the hair loss hormone DHT.
    • Vitamine B1 (Thiamine) → The body needs vitamin B1 to process food and to distribute nutrients (also towards the hair follicles).
    • Selenium → An antioxidant that is good for maintaining normal skin cells and protects against harmful substances from both the inside and the outside. The body also needs vitamin B2 for the conversion of vitamin B6 into a usable form for the body.
    • Vitamine B3 (Niacine) → Each hair follows a cycle of hair growth, rest and hair loss, after which the hair grows back. Vitamin B3 contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism which contributes to this cycle.
    • Vitamine B5 (Pantotheenzuur)→ Contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and thus to the energy supply to the hair follicles.
    • Vitamine B6 (Pyridoxine) → Contributes to a normal energy-yielding metabolism and thus to the energy supply to the hair follicles.
    • Biotin → Contributes to a healthy macronutrient metabolism and to the maintenance of normal hair growth. It keeps hair strong and shiny.
    • Vitamine C → Contributes to the formation of collagen, which is important for a healthy (scalp) skin.
